This is a quick motor I made using a single phase brushless motor controller IC (AH5798-yg) a coil of wire (100 turns of 38 awg)  and a magnetic sphere (Neodymium Iron Boron, N42). Based on the sound (via my FFT app on my iphone)  it is spinning at either 74400 or 37200 rpm.

For my senior design II project I designed a LED light fixture to replace the standard fluorescent ones in the campus apartments.  This is my final report.
