Bubbles Display
Saturday, October 9th, 2010This bubble display uses glycerine and air to produce pattens and text. This version is 8 pixels wide. The concept can be scaled up in a modular fashion to enable large installations (ie an entire wall in a restaurant or bar, or a free standing divider in a lobby or office). Control is implemented using an arduino micro controller board. Future additions will include a streaming interface (to upload text and commands on the fly), and a more refined modular design. This prototype is on display at Momentum Tulsa 2010.
