I was using good old toner transfer (but with the fancy paper and thermal laminator). But I have some new methods in the works now that I have access to a laser cutter!

Those were Toner transfer (Using the fancy kit from digikey with a thermal laminator). I recently made some using cut vinyl as a resist, they worked quite well but I have only tried those down to SOIC (I have made Toner Transfer boards with TSSOP power pad packages)

Yeah, that kind of sucked. I did get it fixed and working for the opening though (then it had an issue a day or two later with the air pump). I only had about two weeks to order all the parts and build it full scale so I did not have much testing time. It was controlled by an arduino though. Did you ever get to see it running? Also, I would like to build a 2.0 but alas, lack of funding.

No way, I was actually helping out at LivingArts when this thing went up. If I remember correctly there were some leakage issues…. any 2.0 version?
